Just a quick post urging you to give generously to any of the following resources in support of Japan tsunami relief. I was in Japan two months ago by myself, and I was amazed by the kindness and grace attached to their culture. Even though I could barely string together enough words to cohesively connect a sentence (my Japanese was, and continues to be, appalling), I found that the language barrier was hardly a hurdle in communication when those I dealt with were so kindly willing to help- whether it was to give me directions, assist in translating signs or restaurant menus, or direct me to the right train on the subway.
